Yes. The Free plan includes unlimited groups and friends, equal, percentage, share and exact-amount splits, multiple payers, recurring expenses, debt simplification and CSV export. Paid plans start at $3.99/month and add receipt scanning, itemized splits, spending charts and search.

Create a group, invite people with a link or code, then add an expense: enter the amount, choose who paid, and choose how to split it — equally, by exact amounts, by percentage or by shares. Everyone's balance updates immediately.

When someone pays back what they owe — in cash, by bank transfer, Venmo, PayPal or UPI — they record it in HisaabCore and the other person confirms it. The balance only changes once the payment is confirmed, and a receipt is available for every confirmed payment.

Debt simplification reduces the number of payments needed to settle a group. Instead of everyone paying everyone they shared a cost with, HisaabCore works out the fewest transfers that leave every balance at zero.

Yes. HisaabCore supports around 30 currencies. Each expense can be entered in its own currency, and the exchange rate is locked in when the expense is added, so balances don't shift as rates change later.

No. HisaabCore runs in any modern browser on phone or desktop. You can also add it to your home screen like an app, and you can add expenses while offline — they sync when you're back online.

Yes. You can download your data as JSON at any time, export any group's expenses to CSV, and delete your account from Settings.

Open the group and share its invite link or its six-character invite code — anyone with either can join. You can also send an email invite, or add people who are already your friends on HisaabCore.

The person who added an expense can edit or delete it, and so can any group admin. Every edit is recorded in the expense's history, and changing the amount rescales everyone's share automatically.

Yes, once your balance in that group is settled. If you're the group's last admin, another member is promoted to admin automatically when you leave.

A group holds shared expenses for a trip, a home or an event. Friends are people you split with; your friend list shows your combined balance with each person across every group you share.

Yes — HisaabCore Free costs $0 forever and includes unlimited groups and friends, every split method except itemized, recurring expenses and CSV export, with up to 50 new expenses a day.

Pro ($3.99/month or $34.99/year) removes the daily expense cap and adds receipt scanning with itemized splitting, 10GB of receipt storage, spending charts and budgets, full-text search and full JSON backups.

Yes. Pro, Households and Teams each come with a 14-day free trial.

Nothing is deleted. If a subscription ends, your account moves to the Free plan and all your groups, expenses and history stay exactly as they were.

Teams ($19.99/month per workspace, up to 10 members included) is for small businesses and agencies splitting shared costs. It adds business workspaces, company expense categories, QuickBooks/Xero export and read-only API access.
